The New York premiere of Bess Wohl’s Make Believe is set to begin performances July 30 at Second Stage Theater ahead of an August 15 opening.

In Make Believe, ages 5 to 10, are playing a game of house when their parents inexplicably disappear. Thirty-two years later, their search for answers continues.

The production, directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, stars Kim Fischer (Then She Fell, Mrs. Fletcher), Susannah Flood (The Cherry Orchard, Plano), Ryan Foust (Mary Page Marlowe), Brad Heberlee (Mrs. Murray’s Menagerie, A Life), and Samantha Mathis (Being Frank, Nomad Motel) alongside newcomers Harrison Fox, Maren Heary, and Casey Hilton.
