On March 18 Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center presented its 11th annual Visible Ink, a showcase of original works written by MSK patients with the help of professional mentors. Founded by novelist Judith Kelman, the Visible Ink program has helped more than 2,200 people with cancer and caregivers bring their stories to the stage.

Hosted at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, the evening featured performances by Emmy and Tony winner David Hyde Pierce, Hamilton's Marc de la Cruz, and Emmy winner Debra Monk.

Monk performed a special tribute to the late Marin Mazzie. The piece was written by Catherine Porter, a patient at MSK and Mazzie’s standby in Next to Normal.
