Broadway Hamilton cast members Lexi Lawson, who plays Eliza Hamilton, and Anthony Lee Medina, who plays Philip Hamilton and John Laurens, came out for the unveiling of the newly restored historic nickel bronze statues of Alexander Hamilton and DeWitt Clinton at the Museum of the City of New York December 7.

The statues, designed three quarters of a century ago for the museum by Adolph Alexander Weinman, received their first ever conservation treatment since installation in 1941.

The conservation of the Hamilton and Clinton statues is part of the final stages of a 10-year renovation of the Museum’s historic building.
