The August edition of the Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out! series, which raises money for human rights organizations across the U.S., took place August 28 at the Ferst Center for the Arts in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller, Tony nominee Keala Settle, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Sharon Gless, Nora Schell, Ryann Redmond, Kim Fields, Christopher L. Morgan, and Royce Mann all took part in the Atlanta concert.
The monthly Concerts for America series, created by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, benefits The Southern Poverty Law Center, National Immigration Law Center, The Sierra Club Foundation, NAACP, and National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. More celebrities are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The new jukebox musical featuring the songs of Huey Lewis and the News follows a Chicagoan whose failed band leads to him returning to corporate America.
