Laura Michelle Kelly and Jose Llana will lead the cast of the touring production of Lincoln Center Theater’s The King and I. Llana returns to the role of the King of Siam after two engagements in the Broadway production of the show. Kelly, who will play Anna Leonowens, was last seen on Broadway alongside Matthew Morrison in Finding Neverland.
Bartlett Sher directs. Christopher Gattelli provides choreography based on the original choreography of Jerome Robbins.
The tour begins its journey in Providence on October 30, then moves west for stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle. See all currently scheduled dates here, with more cities to be announced soon.
