Walt Disney Studios has released the trailer for the Steven Spielberg-helmed film adaptation of Roald Dahl's children's classic The BFG. In the title role of the beloved Big Friendly Giant is three-time Tony winner Mark Rylance.
The London-set film, about a young girl's adventures with her Giant friend, will be released in theatres July 1. Watch the trailer below:

The play by Amy Herzog officially opened April 23 on Broadway.
