Indecent playwright Paula Vogel is set to take part in the Park Avenue Armory’s November conversation series, titled Person Place Thing. The event will be held November 19 at 3 PM.

Person Place Thing is inspired by the idea that people are most engaged when they speak not directly about themselves but about something they care about. Guests are prompted to discuss a person, place, and thing that are important to them.

Pulitzer Prize winner Vogel will be joined by playwright and performance artist Daniel Alexander Jones and host Randy Cohen. Musical guest is composer and pianist Samora Pinderhughes.

Held in the historic period rooms, the Park Avenue Armory’s conversation series explores a range of themes and relevant topics to encourage audiences to think beyond conventional ideas about art.

Tickets can be purchased online here or by calling the Box Office at (212) 933-5812.

Vogel is no stranger to storytelling. Check out the playwright discussing the message of love in her Tony-nominated play Indecent:
