20th Century Blues, the new play by Blackburn Prize-winning playwright Susan Miller, is set to receive its New York premiere beginning November 12 at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.
Tony nominee Emily Mann (Having Our Say) will direct the play, which follows a group of four women who reunite over the course of 40 years for a photo shoot that documents their changing and aging selves. Their friendship is tested when the private photographs have the potential to go public.
