LOS ANGELES -- Len Lesser, who played Uncle Leo on TV's "Seinfeld" for nine years, will head the cast of Ronald Ribman's Cold Storage, opening Oct. 24 at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble.
The other featured cast members are Magna Rivera and Jeff Seymour. Seymour, who previously ran the Gnu Theatre in N. Hollywood, also directs.
Ribman's play involves the intimate relationship between two hospital patients: an investment advisor in fine art and an Armenian fruit and vegetable merchant.
Ribman's other plays include Journey of the Fifth Horse, The Final War of Oily Winter and Buck.
The original 1978 Broadway production of Cold Storage starred another Len -- Cariou -- alongside Martin Balsam and Ruth Rivera. Through Dec. 6 at the Odyssey, 2055 S. Sepulveda Blvd. Call (310) 477 2055.
