Obie Award winner James Saito (Durango, TV's "Eli Stone") and Joel de la Fuente (Cowboy v. Samurai) will play father and son(s), respectively. Opening night is March 17.

Christoph Hahner is co-producer. Maureen Payne-Hahner directs. The Obie Award-winning National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) is now in its 21st season.

According to NAATCO, "In A Number, Caryl Churchill explores the human experience, the essence of personality, and nature versus nurture as a man confronts his father after discovering that he has several siblings — each one of his clones."

The design team for A Number includes Czerton Lim (set design); Maureen Payne-Hahner (costume design); Alex Bright (lighting design); and Kate Brown (sound design).

Churchill's plays include Top Girls, Mad Forest, Fen, Cloud Nine and Serious Money.

Performances will play Tuesdays-Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Saturdays at 3 PM and Sundays at 2 PM at the Cherry Lane Studio Theatre (38 Commerce Street).

Tickets are $20 (March 12 & 13) and $25 (March 15-April 3). For tickets, visit or call (212) 239-6200 or (800) 432-7250. Tickets may also be purchased at the Cherry Lane box office.

NAATCO was created to provide opportunities for Asian-American theatre artists — actors, directors, designers and more — to do work in Western stage literature that they might not ordinarily be cast in or hired for in traditional circumstances. For more information, visit
