News Seth Gordon Named Associate Artistic Director of Rep of St. Louis Seth Gordon has been named associate artistic director of The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, the Missouri company announced April 1.

Gordon is currently associate artistic director of the Cleveland Play House, where he produces FusionFest, a program highlighting new works in music, dance and theatre. He also runs the Playwrights' Unit and directs regularly for the company.

Gordon's Cleveland Play House directing credits include Dinner with Friends, Proof, Forest City (world premiere), Vincent in Brixton, Tuesdays with Morrie, A Christmas Story, RFK, Of Mice and Men, The Chosen, Doubt and The Lady with All the Answers.

Before joining Cleveland Play House, Gordon served as literary manager and then as associate producer of Primary Stages in New York, where he produced and/or directed productions, workshops and readings of new plays.

Gordon has also directed in Cleveland for Dobama Theatre, the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival and the Beck Center for the Arts. He recently directed the Arabic premiere of Our Town in Cairo. He received the 2004 and 2006 Northern Ohio Live Award for Excellence in Theatre.
