The Full Monty's Annie Golden may be having flashbacks Dec. 14. Although The Cutting Room in 2000 is a world's difference from CBGBs in the 1970s, Golden will be singing the punk and rock 'n' roll of her youth at the Sh-K-Boom Room.
Golden was the chick singer of the Shirts, a hard rock mainstay at CBGB's in the late 70's. She later went on to appear in the film version of "Hair," after playing in the Broadway company. She now works mostly in the theatre, where she's recently lent her comic talents to On the Town, Assassins and Saturn Returns.
Tickets are $10 at the door. The Cutting Room, a new restaurant owned by The Best Man's Chris Noth, is located at 19 West 24th Street. For more information, call Noah Cornman at (646) 505 0496. Reservations can be e-mailed to BoomRoom@sh k-boom.com. Sh-K-Boom Records is on the web at http://www.sh-k boomrecords.com.
