News   Shades of "Blue": Michael Arden Sings Joni Mitchell at Joe's Pub Oct. 28-30 Michael Arden, most recently seen on the New York stage in the City Center Encores! production of Juno, salutes the work of Joni Mitchell Oct. 28-30 at Joe's Pub.

Arden will perform Mitchell's "Blue" album in its entirety each night at 11:30 PM. The concerts feature new arrangements penned by Todd Almond. "Blue," which was released in June 1971, features such Mitchell tunes as "All I Want," "My Old Man," "Little Green," "Carey," "Blue," "California," "This Flight Tonight," "River," "A Case of You" and "The Last Time I Saw Richard."

Arden was most recently on Broadway in the Bob Dylan-Twyla Tharp musical The Times They Are A-Changin'. His previous Broadway outing cast him as Tom Sawyer in the Roundabout Theatre Company's presentation of the Deaf West Theatre sign-language production of Big River. Other credits include Ace, Swimming in the Shallows, Bare, Harold & Maude and It's Only Life Off-Broadway. Arden also joined Barbra Streisand during her world concert tour.
