News Shakespeare Double Bill to Close Early at London's RSC The RSC's Shakespearean double bill at the Old Vic, Coriolanus and The Merry Wives of Windsor, is to close three weeks early.

The two Shakespearean plays will end their run Aug. 3.

The Merry Wives of Windsor, one of Shakespeare's comedies, is entertaining but not a great crowd-puller. Coriolanus is a much more dramatic play, and this RSC production features a samurai style that was praised by most drama critics. Greg Hicks' mesmerizing performance in the title role, also drew good notices.
