The Shakespeare Theatre Company will host a free open rehearsal of its upcoming production of Cymbeline Jan. 9 in Washington, D.C. Seatings will take place at 3 PM and 4:20 PM.

Director Rebecca Bayla Taichman and her cast will rehearse William Shakespeare's tale of romance, mistaken identity and magic on the stage of the Lansburgh Theatre for the first time at this event. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The production's run will take place Jan. 18-March 6. The cast of Cymbeline features Ted van Griethuysen as King Cymbeline, Franchelle Stewart Dorn as the Queen, Gretchen Hall as Imogen, plus Justin Badger as Guiderius, Mark Bedard as Posthumus Leonatus, Zoe W. Briscoe as Girl, Adrian LaTourelle as Iachimo, Andrew Long as Caius Lucius, Leo Marks as Cloten, Alex Morf as Arviragus, Dee Pelletier as Storyteller, Michael Rudko as Belarius, Todd Scofield as Philario, Jenn Walker as Helen, William Youmans as Pisanio and ensemble members Katie Atkinson, Brian Clowdus, Adam Ewer, Ben Horen, Kevin Stevens, Tom Story, James Whalen and Hannah Wolfe.

The design team comprises lighting designer Christopher Akerlind, costume designer Miranda Hoffman and scenic designer Riccardo Hernandez, and composer and sound designer Andre Pluess.
