News Shalom Dammit! Will Have Reading at University of Northern Colorado TotalTheater Productions, in association with the University of Northern Colorado's College of Visual and Performing Arts, will present a developmental staging of Shalom Dammit! An Evening with Rabbi Sol Solomon Nov. 21-22 at the university's Norton Theater.

Conceived, co-written and directed by radio personality and former Playbill.com editor Dave Lefkowitz, the 7 PM performances will star Rabbi Sol Solomon. Shalom Dammit!, according to press notes, "offers the Rabbi’s wit and wisdom on such topics as world religions, intolerance, Christianity, Arabs and Muslims, the Holocaust and other aspects of modern Jewish life. Punctuating the Rabbi’s sermon will be such songs as 'Then You’re Jewish,' 'I Know What Goys Like' and 'When Jewish is What You Are.'"

Solomon will be joined onstage by pianist David San Miguel. Other members of the creative team include lighting designer Kirsten Iannuzzi, stage manager Kolbi Morton, directorial consultant J. David Blatt and musical director Richard Shore.
