News Shanley's Love and Revenge with Orfeh, Dixon, Devicq, Meloni Benefits LAB, April 24 Anastasia Barzee, Orfeh, Jerry Dixon, Christopher Meloni and more star in John Patrick Shanley's Love and Revenge April 24 — a LAByrinth Theater Company benefit evening.

The one-night-only performance plays at The Public Theater (where the troupe is currently in residence). Tickets ($100) include a post-show reception and are available by calling (212) 279-4200.

"We will bring you to your feet!" promises Shanley in show materials. In Love and Revenge, the scribe "wrestles the twin anacondas of Romance and Retribution to the ground with the assistance of world class singers and actors. Dramatic, comic and erotic explosions will litter the theater floor. Lots of music! Lots of theater!"

LAByrinth company members Ron Cephas Jones, Trevor Long, Chris McGarry, Portia, and David Zayas are scheduled to appear with special guest stars Anastasia Barzee, Paula Devicq, Jerry Dixon, Maude Maggart, Christopher Meloni, Orfeh and David St. Louis.

Shanley first teamed with LAByrinth in 2001 for Where's My Money? The show ran at Center Stage in Chelsea and was later picked up, LAB cast intact, for a run at Manhattan Theatre Club. The relationship continued with LAB's staging of Dirty Story which played in 2003 and Sailor's Song in 2004.

Known for Pulitzer Prize-winning play Doubt and his Academy Award-winning screenplay "Moonstruck," Shanley has also penned the plays Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Cellini, Four Dogs and a Bone and Beggars in the House of Plenty.
