The story of General Electric’s infamous economic meltdown will be loosely dramatized in the world premiere of Shareholder Value, at the Theater for the New City beginning March 21.

In this production, the struggle of a CEO of a troubled conglomerate is told as he is forced to increase the stock value.

The cast of Shareholder Value features Debbie Bernstein, Joe Candelora, Matt Gorsky, Dennis Holland, Bill McAndrews, Benjamin Russell, and Kristen Tripolitis.

Mark Marcante directs the play with music by Arthur Abrams. Mark Marcante designs the set, Desiree Conton is in charge of costumes, Alexander Bartenieff will do lighting, Alex Santullo will operate sound and video, while Lytza Colon manages props. Additionally, Jordyn Prince serves as the assistant director and Jessica Schedlbauer as stage manager.
