Actress and singer Shari Belafonte paid a visit to Daniel Beaty's Through the Night at the Union Square Theatre the evening of Oct. 6.

Belafonte, who released solo albums in the 1980s and boasts over 30 screen credits, met and posed for photos with writer/performer Beaty and director Charles Randolph-Wright.

The solo work tells the story of six African-American males, ages 10-60, "who discover the power of possibility through one extraordinary event."

Tickets are available via or in person at The Union Square Theatre Box Office.
