Actor John Shea and comedy writer Bruce Vilanch will be the guests on the April 27 edition of "Theater Talk," the PBS show devoted to the world of the stage, hosted by Michael Riedel of The New York Post and Susan Haskins.
Shea is the star of the Off-Broadway play, The Director, which is doing well at the ArcLight Theatre in Manhattan. Vilanch, meanwhile, stars in his own one-man show, Almost Famous, at the Westbeth Theatre. He will discuss his career writing comic material for Bette Midler, Bob Hope and many other stars.
The show airs April 27 at midnight, and will re-air on MetroArts Thirteen, Saturday, at 10 PM (check local Cablevision listings for time and channel); and Friday at 12:30 AM in Boston on WGBH. (Check local listings.)
