Sheik and Pritchard to Perform at Town Hall Nov. 13 | Playbill

News Sheik and Pritchard to Perform at Town Hall Nov. 13 Tony and Grammy Award-winning Spring Awakening composer Duncan Sheik will take to the stage of Town Hall Nov. 13.

Joining Sheik for the 8 PM Town Hall concert will be original Spring Awakening cast member Lauren Pritchard. The November Town Hall stop is one of several on Sheik's upcoming tour. Pritchard has signed on for the complete concert tour.

The concert promises to offer songs from Spring Awakening, as well as Sheik's upcoming theatre projects. Along with Spring Awakening co-creator Steven Sater, Sheik is at work on the musicals The Nightingale and Nero. Sheik is also penning the musical stage project Whisper House, which will coincide with an album of the same title.

In addition to his theatrical endeavors, Sheik is slated to perform songs from his recording career, including the hit single "Barely Breathing." His albums include his self-titled 1996 debut as well as "Humming," "Phantom Moon," Daylight" and "White Limousine." Sheik has scored the films "A Home at the End of the World" and "The Cake Eaters."

Pritchard, who originated the role of the free-spirited Ilse in Spring Awakening, departed the Broadway production in February to record her forthcoming album for Sony/BMG Records. Spring Awakening marked the Broadway debut of the smoky, soulful-voiced Tennessee native.

Tickets for the Town Hall concert begin sale July 25. For tickets, visit ticketmaster.com. Town Hall is located at 123 West 43rd Street.
