The cast members will perform, and the musical's producer, Tom Hulce, will moderate a discussion on the show's development. The show's cast recording comes out the previous day, Dec. 12.

The event is part of the store's "Made on a Mac" series. As part of the same series, Spring Awakening's set designer Christine Jones and lighting designer Kevin Adams will appear at the store on Jan. 23, 2007, at 6 PM.

After an Off-Broadway run at the Atlantic Theater Company last spring and summer, Spring Awakening began previews Nov. 16 at Broadway's Eugene O'Neill Theatre and will open on Dec. 10.

Based on the expressionist drama by Frank Wedekind, Spring Awakening is a collaboration between Sheik and lyricist-librettist Steven Sater. Direction is by Michael Mayer and the choreography is by Bill T. Jones. In addition to Jones and Adams, the design team includes Susan Hilferty (costume) and Brian Ronan (sound).

The musical features Skylar Astin, Lilli Cooper, Christine Estabrook, John Gallagher, Jr., Gideon Glick, Jonathan Groff, Brian Charles Johnson, Lea Michele, Lauren Pritchard, Stephen Spinella, Phoebe Strole, Jonathan B.
