News Shenton Will Chat with Henshall at London's Shaw Theatre The Spotlight On series of celebrity interviews at the Shaw Theatre will continue Jan. 15 with Olivier Award winner Ruthie Henshall.

The series, which was devised by Neil Marcus and Elaine Paige, is currently being hosted by Playbill.com London correspondent Mark Shenton, who is also a theatre critic for the Sunday Express and has regularly hosted platforms at the National Theatre. Henshall was last seen in the West End in the title role of the Michel Legrand/Boublil and Schonberg musical Marguerite at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket. Other West End credits include the original London casts of the import of Broadway's Crazy for You (Prince Edward Theatre, 1993), She Loves Me (Savoy Theatre, 1994, winning the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical) and Chicago (playing Roxie Hart at the Adelphi, 1997). She also starred in the British premiere of Peggy Sue Got Married (Shaftesbury Theatre, 2001) and took over leading roles in Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, Oliver! and The Woman in White. Henshall has been seen on Broadway in Miss Saigon, Chicago (playing Velma Kelly) and Putting it Together.

The Spotlight On interview with Henshall will begin at 3 PM. Future guests lined up for the season include composers Michel Legrand on Feb. 13 and Sandy Wilson on March 13, and opera singer and star of Carousel Lesley Garrett on March 25. Shenton will be the interviewer for all of these interviews.
