Shepard, Martin, DeLillo and More to Appear at PEN World Voices Fest

News   Shepard, Martin, DeLillo and More to Appear at PEN World Voices Fest Playwright Sam Shepard, actor-playwright Steve Martin and novelist-playwright Don DeLillo will be among the participants in the third annual PEN World Voices festival for international literature in New York from April 24-29.

Shepard, the Pulitzer Prize-winning writer of Buried Child and many other plays, will appear at the PEN Cabaret along with Patti Smith and others on April 28 at The Bowery Ballroom. Martin (Picasso at the Lapin Agile) and Delillo (Valparaiso) will participate in "Town Hall Readings: Writing Home" along with Nadine Gordimer, Salman Rushdie and others at Town Hall on April 25.

The theme of this year's festival is "Home and Away." More events will be announced next week. For more information visit www.pen.org.
