Norbert Leo Butz and Sherie Rene Scott, who were first paired together in the Off-Broadway premiere of Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years, are reuniting for a six-performance concert engagement at Feinstein’s/54 Below this spring.
Billed as a work in development, Butz and Scott will debut their new show from April 26 through May 2. Show times are 7 PM. Todd Almond is musical director.
Following their 2002 run in The Last Five Years, Butz and Scott again shared a stage in the 2005 Broadway production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Both were Tony-nominated for their performances, with Butz winning for Best Actor in a Musical. Butz earned his second Tony Award for Catch Me If You Can in 2011. Scott was also Tony-nominated for the Broadway transfer of her biographical musical Everyday Rapture in 2010. Butz was most recently seen in the Broadway revival of My Fair Lady at Lincoln Center Theater.
