News Sherie Rene Scott, Laura Benanti, Leslie Uggams, Victor Garber, Liz Callaway and More Join Lineup for 54 Below Additional artists have been announced to play 54 below, the new nightclub and restaurant at 254 West 54th Street that is the brainchild of Tony Award-winning producers Tom Viertel, Marc Routh, Richard Frankel and Steven Baruch.

Newly confirmed acts include Sherie Rene Scott: Oct. 16-27; Laura Benanti: Sept. 18-22; Leslie Uggams: Nov. 13-17; Victor Garber: Aug. 13 and 20 at 7 PM; Jenifer Lewis: July 24-28; Liz Callaway: Nov. 7-11; Andrea McArdle: July 23 and 30 at 7 PM; Christine Andreas: Oct. 8 and 15 at 7 PM; and Joe Iconis & Family: July 16 at 9:30 PM.

The Green Room, a late-night lounge with live music, creative cocktails and small food plates (no cover charge or minimum), will feature The Sean Harkness Duo: June 12, 19, 26 at 10:30 PM; The John Miller Quartet: June 6, 13, 20, 27 at 10:30 PM; and The Barry Levitt Trio: June 7, 14, 21, 28 at 10:30 PM.

The lineup for the Jazz Brunch (doors open at 2 PM) currently includes Hilary Kole: June 3 at 3 PM; Natalie Douglas: June 17 at 3 PM; Alysha Umphress: July 1 at 3 PM; Eric Comstock & Barbara Fasano: July 15 at 3 PM; and Marcus Paul James: Sunday, July 29 at 3 PM.

As previously reported, Olivier and two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone will open the venue June 5-16 with a two-week engagement; other Broadway stars confirmed include Ben Vereen (July 10-21), Brian d'Arcy James (June 26-30), Megan Hilty (Dec. 18-22), Linda Lavin (Sept. 17 and 23), Rebecca Luker (July 6-7), Julia Murney (Sept. 10 and 16), Jackie Hoffman (June 3-July 29), Lea DeLaria (July 23-Aug. 6), Eden Espinosa (Sept. 10 and 17), Michael Arden (Aug. 12), Tony DeSare (Oct. 2-13) and Mx Justin Vivian Bond (June 4-July 9). Andrea Martin will also perform; dates will be announced at a later time.

The new venue, according to press notes, "will offer audiences the chance to enjoy first class performers in a stunning and intimate space, enhanced by a premium dining experience." In addition to providing a home for musical theatre entertainers, 54 Below will house a variety of other offerings, including a series celebrating well-known and rising composers. That series will launch in June and July with Hairspray Tony winner Marc Shaiman.

54 Below is designed by Tony Award winner John Lee Beatty and architect Richard Lewis, lit by Tony Award winner Ken Billington, and with sound by Tony Award nominee Peter Hylenski. Tony Award winner Scott Wittman serves as creative consultant, and MAC Award winner Phil Geoffrey Bond is the director of programming.

The venue will feature up to three shows nightly and will have audio and video recording capabilities. The capacity is 160. The cover charge will range from $30-$70.
