Obituaries Sherri Marie Nierman, Regional Stage Manager, Dead at 29 Sherri Marie Nierman, a respected regional-theatre stage manager, died Jan. 29 as a result of a car accident in Dayton, Ohio, according to her friends and colleagues at Human Race Theatre Company, where she was production stage manager for the current staging of The Drawer Boy.

Sherri Marie Nierman

Ms. Nierman was 29, and was engaged to marry Jeff Chapin of Westerville, OH, this coming summer. A native of Fort Collins, CO, she received her B.A. with an emphasis in Stage Management from Otterbein College in Westerville in 1997. Over the years she had worked for a number of theatre companies, including Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara, The Actors Gang, Tacoma Actors Guild, East L.A. Classic Theatre, Capital Playhouse and The Denver Center Theatre Company.

She was a member of Actors' Equity Association and a lifetime member of the National Thespian Society.

She is survived by her parents, Ross and Emmalou Nierman, brothers Bruce and Brian, and sisters-in-law Leanne and Jennifer.

A fund has been set up in her name, at Community Christian Church, 1701 S. College Ave., Tempe AZ, 85281.
