Davis succeeds Molly Ringwald, who ended her stint with the tour in Nashville, TN, June 17. Davis is contracted to perform through the end of the tour, which is currently scheduled for a final performance in Tempe, AZ on Aug. 12. Audiences in Houston, Kansas City, Milwaukee and Dallas can expect to catch Davis in the Cy Coleman, Dorothy Fields, Neil Simon musical when it makes stops in their cities.

Davis is known as the Emmy-nominated host of The Learning Channel's series "Trading Spaces." She has starred as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway, and regionally she has been seen as Val in A Chorus Line, April in Company, Catherine in Pippin and Irene Malloy in Hello, Dolly!, among others.

Based on the 2005 Walter Bobbie-directed Broadway revival, which launched at San Diego's Old Globe, the Broadway production earned Tony Award nominations for Best Revival of a Musical, as well as nominations for choreographer Wayne Cilento and star Christina Applegate.
