Directed by Evan Cabnet, the evening will boast the talents of the previously announced Steven Rosen (Guys and Dolls) and Sarah Saltzberg (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). Joining Rosen and Saltzberg will be Steve Kazee (To Be Or Not To Be, 110 in the Shade) and Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde the Musical, Cabaret). Show time is 7 PM. Allison Leyton-Brown will be the evening's musical director.

The Czar of Rock and Roll, according to press notes, tells the story of "Eugene Reeves, a small-town American boy who became the biggest rock star in the Soviet Bloc. From his humble beginnings as 'The Singing Dishwasher' in Nevada, to his hit record as 'The Groovey Gringo' in South America, to his Soviet superstardom as 'The Czar of Rock and Roll,' Eugene's story is an international rock epic about one man's search for Marxism, music, and the hottest women on the far side of the Iron Curtain."

Czar of Rock and Roll premiered at Houston's Alley Theatre in 1990.

Tickets, priced $20, are available by visiting www.joespub.com. Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street.
