Broadway's current Waitress co-stars, Shoshana Bean and Jeremy Jordan, will announce the nominations for the 2019 Drama League Awards April 17 at Sardi’s.

Nominees will be announced for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the coveted Distinguished Performance Award, beginning at 11 AM.

First presented in 1922, the Distinguished Performance Award is the centerpiece of the Drama League Awards Ceremony. Each year dozens of noteworthy performances are nominated for the distinction, which goes to one artist, and can only be won once in an artist’s lifetime.

The 85th annual ceremony will take place May 17 at the Marriot Marquis.

As previously reported, Kelli O’Hara, Alex Timbers, and Taylor Mac will receive Honorary Drama League Awards.
