Bean and Woodward will play the Manhattan venue April 7 at 10 PM. About her upcoming gig, Bean told Playbill.com, "[Lucy and I] are both soulful, girl-power focused artists, who are totally gonna rock Le Poisson!" Le Poisson Rouge is located at 158 West Bleecker Street, between Thompson and Sullivan. There is a $15 cover charge; for tickets click here.

Bean will also perform and autograph copies of her new CD April 15 at 6 PM and the Lincoln Center Barnes and Noble at 1972 Broadway. The event, which is free and open to the public, is part of the American Songbook performance series.

Shoshana Bean, who starred as Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked, played Shelley in the original cast of the Tony-winning musical Hairspray. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Bean attended the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music before heading to NYC. She was first cast in the Off-Broadway production of Godspell and then in the national tour of Leader of the Pack. Bean was also part of the all-star Hair benefit concert. The singer-actress was seen this past December in a holiday engagement of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Her solo recording is titled "Superhero."

Lucy Woodward recently released her second solo album, "Lucy Woodward is Hot and Bothered."
