News Shoshana Bean to Make London Debut in August Shoshana Bean will make her London debut with two West End concerts Aug. 17 at the Ambassadors Theatre.

She will be joined for her London shows by guest West End stars, to be announced at a later time. The show is presented by Jason Haigh-Ellery, Hugh De La Bedoyere and Christopher D Clegg.

After making her Broadway debut in the original cast of Hairspray, she subsequently took over as the first replacement for Elphaba in Wicked. She recently headlined in the Las Vegas burlesque revue Peepshow, conceived and directed by Jerry Mitchell (currently represented in the West End by his work on Legally Blonde: the Musical and Love Never Dies). She made her Los Angeles concert debut at the Ford Amphitheater in June 2008, and in November made her New York City concert debut to a sold-out crowd at Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center. She recently released her debut solo album "Superhero" on her own label, Shotime Records.
