News Show Tune Shuffle: "Broadway in Bryant Park" Series Revises Musicals Schedule Last week's "Broadway in Bryant Park" performance was canceled due to weather. But there's no need to fret, as all the Broadway and Off-Broadway shows have rescheduled to play later dates.

Scheduled to perform July 31 are the previously announced The Prince and the Pauper, Stomp, The Lion King, with newly added Café a Go Go and Gypsy. (The only other weather-affected show, Thoroughly Modern Millie, will now play Aug. 14.)

The radio station 106.7 Lite FM presents "Broadway in Bryant Park" which plays every Thursday through Aug. 21 from 12:30 PM-2 PM at the midtown green. The event features excerpts from some of the current and upcoming Broadway and Off Broadway musicals.

The current line-up (subject to change) is as follows:

  • Café a Go Go, The Prince and the Pauper, Stomp, Gypsy and The Lion King - July 31
  • Movin’ Out, Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret and Mamma Mia! - Aug. 7
  • Chicago, Rent, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Thing About Men, and Aida - Aug. 14
  • The Donkey Show, Listen to My Heart, Avenue Q, Urinetown and A Christmas Carol - Aug. 21
