Cody, who plays numerous roles in the musical based on the DreamWorks animated films, will lead the Shrek master class, which includes song interpretation and vocal coaching, musical theatre audition technique, as well as scene work and choreography from the Broadway production of Shrek.

Jane Fucillo of Shirley Grant Management, specializing in young performers, will also be on hand for the workshop, which will run 10 AM-2 PM at Ripley-Grier Studios. The event is open to young performers ages 7-16.

Jennifer Cody has also appeared on Broadway in Urinetown, Taboo, The Pajama Game, Seussical, Grease, Beauty and the Beast and Cats.

Shrek features a score by Jeanine Tesori (Caroline, or Change, Violet, Thoroughly Modern Millie) and David Lindsay-Abaire (Rabbit Hole). Shrek currently plays the Broadway Theatre.
