News [sic] Author Gibson Returns to Soho Rep with Suitcase, Jan. 22 Melissa James Gibson, who gave Off-Off-Broadway's Soho Rep the biggest critical and popular hit of its history back in 2001 with [sic], returns to the tiny Tribeca space Jan. 22-Feb. 14, 2004, with her latest work, Suitcase or, Those That Resemble Flies From a Distance.

Soho Rep artistic director Daniel Aukin will again direct. [sic] star Christina Kirk is in the cast, along with Thomas Jay Ryan, Jeremy Shamos and Colleen Werthmann. Loisa Thompson, another [sic] veteran, returns to design the set. Thompson, Aukin and Gibson all won Obie Awards for [sic], a quirky and poignant comedy about three young, urban artistic lives in limbo. Gibson also won the 2002 Kesselring Prize for Playwriting. Suitcase, too, features unfinished people and their unfinished projects. The central characters, Jen and Sallie, have problems finishing their dissertations and unlocking the door for their boyfriends.

Suitcase is a co-production with True Love Productions.
