News Side Show Star to Salute Burton Lane at Supper Club Phillip Officer, who starred as the "Geek" in the Broadway production of Side Show, returns to his cabaret roots next month.

Monday evenings in August, the singer with the smooth tenor will salute Broadway and Hollywood composer Burton Lane. Officer has titled his show I Hear Music and will perform Mondays, Aug. 11, 18 and 25 at 7 PM in the King Kong Room at New York's Supper Club. Officer will be joined onstage by composer/musician Dick Gallagher at the piano. Burton Lane scored successes on Broadway and on the silver screen. His major musicals include Finian's Rainbow and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. Among the Lane songs Officer will interpret during his show are such classics as "Old Devil Moon," "Come Back to Me," "Too Late Now" and "Look to the Rainbow."
