Rachid Boucherab, a 2011 Academy Award nominee for Best Foreign Language Film for his Algerian film "Above the Law," will direct the film, which casts Miller as a Chicago housewife who runs off to Las Vegas with her belly-dancing instructor to enter a dance competition.
Miller begins performances of the Terrence Rattigan play Flare Path in London's West End March 4. She appeared on Broadway in After Miss Julie and in the West End in As You Like It. Film credits include "Layer Cake," "Alfie," "Casanova," "Factory Girl," "The Interview," "Stardust," "Camille," "The Edge of Love," "Hippie Hippie Shake," "G.I. Joe" and "Yellow." Television credits include "Bedtime" and "Keen Eddie."
"Just Like a Woman" will be produced by Tessalit and The Bureau. It is a co-production between the U.S., France and the U.K.
