News Sierra Boggess Graduates to Broadway's School of Rock Sierra Boggess, currently on Broadway in the new musical It Shoulda Been You, will take on the role of Rosalie Mullins, the school principal, in School of Rock—The Musical, which is scheduled to begin previews at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre Nov. 9 prior to an official opening Dec. 6.

Boggess joins the previously announced Alex Brightman, who will star as Dewey Finn.

“Sierra is a magical performer,” composer Andrew Lloyd Webber said in a statement. “She was a brilliant Christine Daaé in Phantom, and I’m delighted she’ll have this chance to show off her considerable comedic chops in the role of the Rosalie in School of Rock.
