Sierra Boggess, who plays the straitlaced Fleetwood Mac-loving headmistress Rosalie Mullins in Broadway's School of Rock—The Musical, has announced that she is leaving the cast.

Her final performance in the show at the Winter Garden Theatre will be August 8. The show opened December 6, 2015.

School of Rock composer Andrew Loyd Webber had dropped the news earlier June 20 that Boggess would not play the role in the London production of School of Rock, but would be heading to Paris to play Christine Daae in a Paris production of his The Phantom of the Opera.

She previously created the role of Christine in Lloyd Webber's Phantom sequel, Love Never Dies, which was produced in London.

Boggess has appeared in five Broadway shows, making her debut in the title role of The Little Mermaid in 2008. She has appeared as a singing student in Master Class, replaced as Christine Daae during the ongoing long Broadway run of The Phantom of the Opera, and played a bride-to-be who comes out in It Shoulda Been You.

Tickets for School of Rock—The Musical cost $59 - $155 and are available by visiting the Winter Garden Theatre box office, ordering online at Telecharge.com, or by calling (212) 239-6200.
