News "Silicon Valley," New TV Show Featuring Late Christopher Evan Welch, Will Premiere April 6 The HBO series "Silicon Valley," which features the late actor Christopher Evan Welch, will not adjust its plot following Welch's passing, TheWrap.com reports. The new TV show will premiere April 6 at 10 PM.

The first five-and-a-half of the eight episodes filmed for the first season were shot prior to Welch's death.

Welch died Dec. 2 of lung cancer. He was 48.

Mike Judge, creator of "Silicon Valley," said he and exec producer Alec Berg rewrote scenes of the show, but not enough to change the story.

“[Welch] was incredible and we loved writing for him,” Berg told TheWrap.
