News Simon Thomas Completes Re-Casting for London Edition of Legally Blonde — the Musical Simon Thomas will join the previously announced line-up of principals, who will join the cast of the current London production of Legally Blonde – the Musical beginning Oct. 25.

Led by Sheridan Smith, who continues as Elle Woods, and hold-over cast members Alex Guamond (Emmett), Aoife Mulholland (Brooke), Susan McFadden (Serena) and Peter Davison (Professor Callahan), the newcomers to the principal line-up also include Denise van Outen (Paulette), Siobhan Dillon (Vivienne Kensington) and Carley Stenson (Margot).

Thomas takes over as Warner Huntington III from Richard Fleeshman, who in turn replaced Duncan James, who originated the role. Thomas has just finished playing Rapunzel's Prince in Into the Woods at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park, where he has also previously appeared in Cymbeline, Twelfth Night and HMS Pinafore. Other recent roles include playing the title role of Disney's Tarzan at Hamburg's Theatre Neue Flora, A Tale of Two Cities at the Theatre Royal in Brighton, Marguerite at the Theatre Royal Haymarket and Make Me A Song for the New Players Theatre.
