LOS ANGELES -- Rent wannabees can sing for free tickets to the returning Jonathan Larson musical when the Shubert Theatre opens its box office Oct. 2 at 10 AM.
The public may audition for two hours to win tickets by singing a portion of the musical's anthem Seasons of Love. Ryan Seacrest and Lisa Foxx, hosts of STAR 98.7 FM's popular afternoon drive program will judge performances and select winners, and Rent merchandise will also be awarded to performers.
Rent revisits Los Angeles for a limited six-week engagement, Jan. 20-Feb. 28, 1999, at the Shubert in Century City.
