Produced by Andrew Bryan/Blue Opus Productions, the production will again be directed by Signature artistic director Eric Schaeffer with musical supervision by David Loud; Schaeffer and Loud conceived the production.

Rehearsals, according to the casting notice, are tentatively scheduled to begin Aug. 15. Previews will begin Sept. 20 at a Broadway theatre to be announced with an official opening Oct. 5. (No official announcement about the production has been made. Preview/opening dates are often modified as the production draws near.)

The Kennedy Center production, which played June 8-July 1, 2012, starred Heidi Blickenstaff, James Clow, Alan H. Green, Leslie Kritzer, Patina Miller and Matthew Scott.

The revue celebrates the five-decade partnership of songwriting duo Kander and Ebb, who brought us Cabaret, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman and Zorba. Songs include "The Cell Block Tango," "Maybe This Time," "Ring Them Bells," "Sing Happy," "Razzle Dazzle" and many more.

The Kennedy Center production also featured scenic design by James Kronzer, costume design by Kathleen Geldard, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Kai Harada, musical staging by Karma Camp, orchestrations by William David Brohn, music supervision and vocal arrangements by David Loud and casting by Laura Stanczyk Casting.
