Award-winning musical theatre and cabaret performer Lee Lessack will be appearing regionally in the northeast before commencing a summer cruise tour in the Mediterranean.

Having completed a Los Angeles engagement with his show, "Too Marvelous For Words: The Songs of Johnny Mercer," which sold out at the Cinegrill in Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel, Lessack will be opening the same show at the Stockbridge Cabaret on Aug. 11.

Lessack's show is directed by David Galligan, with musical arrangements by John Boswell.  Ken Helman is musical director for the east coast regional dates. Lessack's Cinegrill concert in Hollywood was recorded and a CD release is planned sometime in the fall.

A cabaret and recording artist with numerous musical theatre credits, Lessack has been featured in the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s annual Cabaret Convention both in New York and San Francisco.  Lessack will appear in a 60-city concert tour of “An Enchanted Evening: The Music of Broadway,” a concert that he created and will co-produced.  His musical theatre credits include leading roles in Grease, Sweeney Todd, Fiddler On The Roof, Godspell and Oklahoma.

Lessack will be appearing at the following eastern regional venues this summer: Aug. 11-12: Stockbridge Cabaret, DeSisto Estate, Stockbridge, MA
Aug. 13: Bradstan Country Hotel, White Lake, NY
Aug. 20-21: FireBird Cafe, 365 W. 46 Street, NYC
Aug. 25-27, Odettes, New Hope, PA
