News Singers and Composers Announced for Final Performance of Monday Nights, New Voices Concert Series Monday Nights, New Voices, the acclaimed concert series founded by composer Scott Alan to "showcase some of today's brightest new talent in New York," will end its seven-year run Nov. 28 at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

The evening, which begins at 7 PM, will be hosted by the four performers who were spotlighted in the first New Voices concert in January 2005: Nikki Renee Daniels, Lauren Thomas, Sara Schmidt and Zakiya Young. New talent that will be celebrated Nov. 28 include Tim Dolan, Stephanie Kababe, Amanda Savan, Sean Stephens and Madison Stratton. Composers Barbara Anselmi, Sam Davis, Drew Gasparini, Lance Horne and Jeremy Schonfeld will accompany these artists on selections from their respective songbooks.

Scott Alan's newest recording, "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up," is now available on CDbaby.com, Amazon.com and iTunes. "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up" follows Alan's earlier studio recordings, "Dreaming Wide Awake" and "Keys." His new musical Home is aiming for Broadway in 2012.
