The cast of the current Public Theater hit Hamilton honor original cast members of A Chorus Line April 16, to mark the 40th anniversary of the latter show's opening at the Public.

The Hamilton cast will unveil a plaque that will be displayed permanently in the Ford Foundation Lobby of The Public Theater. Hamilton performs in the Newman Theater space, the same one where A Chorus Line originated before moving to the Shubert Theatre for its record-setting Broadway run.

A Chorus Line alumni scheduled to attend this special 40th anniversary tribute include Scott Allen, Renee Baughman, Kelly Bishop, Chuck Cissel, Kay Cole, Ronald Dennis, Brandt Edwards, Nancy Lane, Patricia Garland, Carolyn Kirsch, Ronald Kuhlman, Baayork Lee, Carole Schweid, Michael Serrecchia and Samuel Williams.

The cast will then attend Thursday evening's performance of Hamilton.
