News Sins of the Mother Reading to Feature Cannavale, Stuhlbarg and Solorzano Bobby Cannavale will take part in the Barefoot Theatre Company's reading of Israel Horovitz's Sins of the Mother March 31 at the Bleecker Street Theatre.

The 8 PM reading, directed by Jo Bonney, will mark the opening night of the 70/70 Horovitz Project, which honors the 70th birthday of playwright Israel Horovitz. The reading will feature Cannavale (Mauritius) as well as Michael Stuhlbarg (Hamlet) and Francisco Solorzano (Dog Day Afternoon).

Also announced for the year-long Horovitz Project are readings and performances of Security, A Mother's Love, Beirut Rocks, Acrobats, The Marriage Play, The Widow's Blind Date, Unexpected Tenderness, North Shore Fish, Captains and Courage, Barking Sharks, 6 Hotels, The Indian Wants the Bronx, Hopscotch, Shooting Gallery, Rats, Honest-to-God Schnozzola, Henry Lumper, A Christmas Carol: Scrooge & Marley, Morning, The P-Word and CatLady.

The 70/70 Horovitz Project will culminate in the screening of a documentary film created by Oliver Horovitz that will capture the year-long celebration of his father's work. The screening will take place March 31, 2010.
