News Sirius Satellite Radio: Harnick and Fiddler Cast Album on "Radio Playbill" July 5-18 A revival of Fiddler on the Roof with an Italian playing Tevye. Sounds crazy, no? But the show and its star were nominated for Tony Awards, and the polished new cast album recently arrived in stores. Lyricist Sheldon Harnick guests on the July 5-18 "Radio Playbill" show to play it, discuss its nuances with host Robert Viagas, and tell backstage stories.

During the 1960s Harnick and partner Jerry Bock wrote hit after hit: Fiorello, Fiddler, The Apple Tree, The Rothschilds. But after 1970 they split up. Thirty-three years later they collaborated on a new song for this production of Fiddler, and Viagas be asking them a question everyone wants to know – how did it go?

. "Radio Playbill," a news and entertainment magazine show of theatrical interviews, features and music, is broadcast multiple times each week on Sirius Satellite Radio's Our Time, Stream 131.

A new 30-minute show debuts each Monday, with rebroadcasts throughout the following two weeks.
