PlayBlog Sister Act Returns to "The View" (Video) Patina Miller, recently nominated for a Tony Award for her role in Broadway's Sister Act, made another appearance on "The View" to perform "Fabulous, Baby!"

Producer (and "The View" co-host) Whoopi Goldberg introduced Miller and her fellow Sister Act cast members and then asked the leading lady about her reaction to the Tony nominations. Miller said that her head "exploded" when she heard the news.

According to producers, “When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier (Miller) witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won’t be found – a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and an uptight Mother Superior (Victoria Clark). Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community, but in doing so blows her cover. Soon the gang are giving chase, only to find themselves up against Deloris and the power of her new found Sister Hood.”

Miller was looking forward to her "View" appearance. According to the performer's Twitter account, she said, "Ok tweeps tune in for some fabulous baby live on the view! 2 shows yesterday and now we are about to have a blast this morning on @theviewtv."
