News Sixty Miles to Silver Lake Opens Off-Broadway at Soho Rep Jan. 22 Soho Rep's world-premiere engagement of Sixty Miles to Silver Lake, starring Joseph Adams and Dane DeHaan, officially opens Off-Broadway Jan. 22.

Anne Kauffman (God's Ear) directs Dan LeFrac's work, which began performances Jan. 15 and will play a limited engagement through Feb. 8. Soho Rep and Page 73 Productions co-present the premiere.

"A moving car. A father and son. The father drives. The son's face is pressed against the rolled up window," state press notes for Silver Lake. "A lifetime can pass in the sixty miles between a boy's soccer practice and his father's new apartment."

Adams, who appeared in the MTC revival of Come Back, Little Sheba, is cast as the father, Ky, while recent American Buffalo company member DeHaan portrays his son, Denny.

Sixty Miles to Silver Lake has designs by Dane Laffrey (set and costume design), Tyler Micoleau (lighting design) and Leah Gelpe (projection and sound design).
